Translation: It is cloudy and cold. Granted, I didn’t put the accent marks in so minus points for that.
I’ve been pretty busy over the last week or so. It is obvious that my blogging activity has fallen off as a result. Personally, I think part of that has to do with the fact that I have less and less to say. Or rather, anything which isn’t repetitive.
The Writing Front: National Novel Writing Month
I’ve signed up for National Novel Writing Month, which takes place in November. The basic goal is to spend the month trying to reach a goal of 50K words. After languishing for three years, I think I need something to shake things up. So I’m going to try this out and see where it goes.
The project I have in mind is a Tearing Down Tuesday sequel which will focus on Kyle Hackshaw’s return to Circeville. I don’t want to say anything more than that.
For the record, I’ve already started on the draft. It is at 4000 words as of this morning. I’m going to try and tack on another 2000 today.
Like I typed previously, it seems like I do not have much to say of late. It also seems like there is more and more of my life which simply falls under the category of “private.” Or that other category of “can’t talk about it.”
It is frustrating. I miss the days when I could talk about whatever I wanted on my blog.
So it goes.
